Seattle Greenwood - Backyard Studio Office

Our remodel team transformed this detached garage/shop into a backyard studio oasis. Leaning into the original Craftsman wood details from the Greenwood Seattle home, we added functionality creating a beautiful space with a wet bar, bathroom, and open office and lounge area. The efficiently designed wet bar showcases blue cabinets, floating wood shelves, a beverage cooler, and black hardware. A Murphy bed was installed as a space saving solution to accommodate guests. Abundant light pours into the vaulted A-frame studio through well positioned skylights. A large window near the entry boasts a garden view of tidy concrete pavers in a grid pattern creating an outdoor patio and connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces. A concrete retaining wall and step lights create division and lead to an elevated flower patch. What a perfect setup to bring the outdoors in and experience a work from home hideaway.
